Middle School BVR Athletics

Hello, Middle School Students and Families,

We hope you all had a great Winter and are excited for the spring season!

THE SPRING SEASON

Schedules, program updates, equipment, health forms

Middle School spring schedules are live on the Teams and Schedules page on our website. There may be some additions and changes, so please continue to check back frequently.

The first day of practice will be Wednesday, March 5. This will be a day of orientation; students do not need to bring equipment that day. There will be regular practice on Thursday, March 6, and no practice on Friday, March 7

The last day of the season will be Friday, May 28.

Athletic equipment should be stored in the MS locker rooms daily (downstairs by the student lounge). If the locker room is closed, students should leave their equipment on the shelves located directly outside the locker rooms.

A note about away games

As was the case in the fall and winter seasons, there will be some away games in which students will return after the 5:45 p.m. late bus, and they will miss the bus. Please note that we cannot hold the bus on these dates. Please make arrangements to pick up your student at Beaver on these dates. I will send a list of these games to each individual team so that you can plan ahead.

Attendance at games and practices

Attendance at all games and practices is required. If your student needs to miss a practice or game, please email me, the coach, and attendance with as much advance notice as possible. Day-of dismissals make it hard for coaches to plan, so please try to avoid this.

Health forms in Magnus

Please make sure all medical paperwork is up to date in Magus, and all students must have an up-to-date physical and baseline IMPACT test on file. Additionally, if there are any pre-existing injuries or procedures that may impact the sports seasons, please communicate with our athletic trainer, Noel Riley, and the School Nurse, Talia Ossowski.

If you have any questions about schedules, preparation for the season, or other athletics questions, contact me at agould@bcdschool.org.

I look forward to an exciting spring season!
