Mayor DeViet's "Covid-Cut" Food Bank Challenge
Mayor Aina DeViet is challenging Middlesex Centre local residents and businesses to a "hair razing" fundraiser for our local food bank.

The Need

Middlesex Centre residents in need of support are serviced by the Ailsa Craig & Area Food Bank. With the economic hardship some people are experiencing due to COVID-19, donations to the food bank are needed now more than ever.

The Challenge

We are all looking a little shaggy these days, with hair salons and barber shops closed due to COVID-19. This lead to the idea of the Mayor's "COVID-Cut" Challenge.

Aina's challenge to Middlesex Centre is this: If as a community we raise $5,000 in donations for the Ailsa Craig and Area Food Bank by Mother's Day, Aina will let her husband cut her hair. And not just a little bit, but short, almost shaved, shearing!

Assuming Middlesex Centre comes through, Aina will share her before and after looks with you all on Mother's Day.

How to Help

Donations of both food and dollars count towards the Mayor's Challenge!
