Parks & Splash Pads Update
We are pleased to see everyone out safely enjoying our parks, tennis courts, sports fields and splash pads!

A few things to remember when you visit:

  • Practice COVID-19 safety precautions including physical distancing, avoiding large gatherings and staying home if you feel unwell.
  • Playground equipment remains closed at this time.
  • Washrooms at all parks remained closed at this time.

Free Sporting Equipment for Eligible Families

With organized sports on hold due to COVID-19, Play it Forward is changing its program to offer eligible Middlesex County families with children between the ages of 3 to 17 a free soccer ball, basketball, or hockey stick and ball. Apply by July 10.

Canada Day - Fires and Fireworks
Canada Day - Fires & Fireworks in Middlesex Centre
Planning for your Canada Day celebration?

Safe outdoor fires and consumer fireworks are permitted at this time.

  • For fires - review the "quick guide" to open air burning

  • For fireworks - follow the rules set out in the fireworks bylaw & the manufacturers' recommendations for safe discharge.

Canada Day Holiday Closure

The "virtual" Middlesex Centre office will be closed Wednesday, July 1, 2020, for Canada Day. Waste and recycling will be collected on your regular collection day. There is no change because of the holiday.
