Middlesex Centre Council
Council Meeting - March 30, 2020

The next Middlesex Centre council meeting will look a little different.

Council will be holding an emergency meeting, via web conference, on Monday, March 30, 2020, at 9:30 am.

At the meeting, Council will be considering options for financial relief for those residents and businesses that are experiencing hardship as a result of COVID-19 (among other items).

The meeting will be live streamed on the municipality's YouTube channel.

Municipal Services - Summary

Although the municipal office is closed, staff are working to provide as many services as possible at this time.

  • Building Permits: Reviews & Inspections Available
  • Waste & Recycling: Collection Schedule as Normal
  • Parks: Open (Practice Social Distancing)
  • Playgrounds & Sports Fields: Closed
  • Arenas, Rec Centres & Community Centres: Closed
  • Weddings & Licencing: Unavailable

Essential services like emergency response and water/wastewater treatment continue to operate.

Road Closure: Komoka Rd. near Union Ave., March 31 & April 1

CP Rail will be closing Komoka Road (County Rd. 16) at the rail crossing north of Union Ave. in Komoka for crossing improvements. The closure will be from 7:30 am on March 31 to 4:00 pm on April 1. Detour signs will direct traffic onto county roads.
