- When the snow arrives, Middlesex Centre offers tobogganing hills at Caverhill, Deerhaven Optimist, Delaware Lions, Douglas B. Weldon, and Westbrook parks. Be sure to review the tobogganing safety tips before heading out!

When emergencies happen, the on-call, professional firefighters of Middlesex Centre are ready to respond at any moment.
Help our firefighters get to their emergency calls quickly and safely.
Our firefighters flash green lights in the front of their personal vehicles when they are responding to an emergency.
If you “see green” pull over if it is safe to do so and let our firefighters pass.

2025 Fees By-law & Utility Rates |
Council considered two financial items of note at their Nov. 20 meeting:
Fees By-law Update - Council approved the 2025 Fees and Charges By-law, which outlines the fees for a number of municipal services not covered by taxes.
Utility Rate Changes - Council approved changes to water, wastewater and stormwater rates for the coming year. For 2025, water rates will increase by 2% and wastewater rates will increase by 4%. Stormwater rates will increase by 3%. For an average household with all three services, this amounts to an increase of $3.38 per month before any variable rate charges.

The draft budget will be presented to Council for information at their meeting on Nov. 27, and will be considered for adoption at the Dec. 18 council meeting. You can find the draft budget, council presentation and more information on the Budget 2025 webpage.
