SCOPE General Navigation

We’re excited to announce that SCOPE is now offering general navigation support to all providers. The SCOPE Clinical Navigator can assist you with such things as:


  • Locating specialists and providing guidance on referral processes for specialty clinics and community resources in the Middlesex London area.



  • Assisting with out-of-region referrals by helping patients connect with specialists outside of London through the broader SCOPE network.

Health Care Connect Update

Through the work of the Primary Care Action Team, the Ontario government has committed to attaching everyone who was on the Health Care Connect (HCC) waitlist to a primary care provider by Spring 2026.


The HCC Update shares information around funding allocations and resources available to Ontario Health Teams and Primary Care Networks, as well as the expectations for family physicians and nurse practitioners, including new incentives and billing updates.

Introducing Chantelle Wragg - Primary Care Recruiter

The MLPCN is thrilled to welcome Chantelle Wragg as the new Primary Care Recruiter with the Middlesex London Ontario Health Team. An experienced healthcare professional specializing in physician recruitment, retention, and relationship management, Wragg has successfully recruited more than 85 physicians, including locums, to medical offices across Ontario over the last two decades.


As a former Physician Relations Manager at Alpha Laboratories, Wragg takes pride in building trusted relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations, ensuring each placement meets both the community's and physician's needs. You can reach out to her at practicehere@mloht.ca.

CEP Seasonal Preparedness Fall Content Now Live

The Centre For Effective Practice has released their fall content in the seasonal preparedness resource, which includes information on content practice management during respiratory season; seasonal and respiratory immunizations; and vaccine confidence and equitable access.

RSV Prevention Program Supplementary Clinical Guidance

The Supplementary Clinical Guidance for Health Care Providers, developed by the Provincial RSV Advisory Group, is now available. This resource provides responses to frequently asked questions and supports best practices in implementing Ontario’s Infant and High-Risk Children RSV Prevention Program. It complements the Ministry of Health’s provincial guidance.

Updated Major Depression Quality Standard

The Major Depression: Care for Adults and Adolescents quality standard and related resources have been updated to align with the most recent clinical evidence and current practice in Ontario.


The Major Depression quality standard will support the work of the Mental Health and Addictions Centre of Excellence in building an accessible, high-quality, connected system of care for people living with major depression in Ontario.

Antiviral Therapy - Seasonal Influenza

Ontario Health has developed clinical recommendations for antiviral therapy of seasonal influenza.


This document provides guidance on the appropriate prescribing of antivirals and includes net new recommendations for the appropriate prescribing of oral baloxavir, intravenous zanamivir, and intravenous peramivir.


The Ontario Health Influenza Clinical Guidelines and Resources website also includes helpful resources for providers about antiviral availability.

Practical Foot Care Referral Pathways Webinar

The Practical Foot Care Referral Pathways for Primary Care webinar will allow you to gain practical knowledge to make evidence-informed referrals, identify appropriate providers for common conditions, and apply effective referral pathways that support interprofessional collaboration.


The Nov. 19 webinar (12:15-1:15 p.m.) features guest speaker Kathleen Klement, a Canadian Certified Pedorthist with over 15 years of clinical experience and specialized expertise in the conservative management of complex lower-limb and diabetic foot conditions.

The Middlesex London Ontario Health Team, in partnership with the MLPCN, are offering a variety of free one-hour virtual training sessions on Accuro EMR. Sessions include Managing Medical History and Prescriptions, Creating Note and Letter Templates, Billing Claim Entry and Submission and many more.
