Dear Friends,
What a holy and beautiful journey we have just shared together. From the waving of palms and shouts of “Hosanna,” to the quiet tenderness of walking the Labyrinth, to the stillness and reverence of Good Friday, and finally to the joy and light of Easter morning— We have walked the road with Jesus. We have remembered. We have prayed. We have gathered. And we have celebrated the truth that changes everything: Love gets the last word.
| | |
There was something sacred in each moment. In the Labyrinth, many of you walked slowly and prayerfully, releasing burdens and making space for God’s presence. At the cross, we held silence together, honoring the depth of Christ’s love. And on Easter morning, we rejoiced—because the stone was rolled away, and hope is alive.
These were not just services. They were experiences of grace. They were reminders that Jesus meets us not only in the story…but in our lives. And now, as the crowds quiet and the decorations come down, the question becomes: What does resurrection look like now?
It looks like choosing hope when it would be easier to give in to fear. It looks like extending love in everyday moments. It looks like trusting that God is still at work—in us and through us. Easter is not just a day. It is a way of living. A way of seeing the world through the lens of grace. A way of walking forward with courage and peace. So as we continue this journey together, may we carry this truth with us: Christ is risen. And Christ is still leading us.
With gratitude for each of you and the ways you showed up throughout this holy season,Rev. Mary
