Illuminate Loving Others Challenge Summer 2023
Attention women of all ages! We have a challenge for you to ‘Illuminate Loving Others’ in one or two ways this summer!
If you signed up at the Illuminate Retreat that you were interested, here is the information for you to proceed, if you are able! If you have not heard about this at all, hopefully, this email will be clear on how we are challenging you to illuminate loving others this summer!
• Help distribute food at the MEGA SAN ANTONIO FOOD BANK at Light on the Hill @ Mt. Wesley-June 26, July 31, and/or August 28th, 8:30-12:00. Wear your Illuminate t-shirt (if you have one), arrive at 8:30, and you will be given instructions what to do next! You are welcome to bring your child as long as they are with you at all times. Hats, sunscreen, and water are highly recommended.
• Grab a friend or two and show some love with your presence and a smile! We have many women in our church family who are unable to join us for Sunday services or Illuminate events that would love to spend some time visiting with YOU!
If you are interested, contact Laura Shrader (ltshrader@gmail.com, 830-377-7037). Laura is in the church office Monday mornings, all day Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons. Once you contact her, she will provide a name and the necessary information. The beauty of this act of love is that you can do it when it works for your schedule! We will ask you to turn in a follow-up form after your visit. Easy, right? So, who is up for the challenge?
