CURRENT SERMON SERIES
Pastor’s Prayer Partners Petitions
Praise the Lord!
Our prayers are often “me centered.” We pray about the things we want and need. We pray that the Lord would bless plans and projects. We pray for the people we love.
It is good and proper that we include these things in our prayer life, asking for God’s will to be accomplished. However, it is important that we use our prayer time to praise the Lord for His love and mercy, His power and majesty, His promises and the fulfillment of those promises. In your prayers this week, begin with Psalm 150.
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens!
Praise him for his mighty deeds;
    praise him according to his excellent greatness!
Praise him with trumpet sound;
    praise him with lute and harp!
Praise him with tambourine and dance;
    praise him with strings and pipe!
Praise him with sounding cymbals;
    praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

May God be glorified in your prayers.

Pastor Raasch
  PRAYING FOR YOURSELF
Reflect on what is on your heart and mind and take it to God in prayer.

Is there something we can pray about for you?
Praying for One Another
  • Dick Larson and Lori Rosenberg, who are hospitalized. Pray for their medical teams, that God would bless them and use them as His instruments of healing.
  • All who battle cancer, including Judy Wiechert, Gary Bergin, Kathy Schmidt, Wayne Denow, Brad Sachse and Pastor Joel Brandt. Pray that the Lord would bless their treatments, deliver them from pain and strengthen them and their families in faith.
  • Michael Herman, Shirley Kreklow, Hope Kittel, Genevieve Anschuetz, Sonia Buhrow, Dee Lewis, Katie Kubiac & Bernice Zeckmeister, as they contend with ongoing health issues. Ask the Lord to grant healing and strength for the body and peace and joy for the soul.
PRAYING FOR FIL MINISTRIES & OTHERS

 Pray for our “Mission of the Month,” Lutheran Association of Missionary Pilots (LAMP) . LAMP’s volunteers and staff from Canada and the United States share the love of Jesus to Indigenous people in communities in remote northern Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia through Christ-centered Bible studies and other outreach projects.

Pray for our annual Men’s Retreat that will take place in Manitowoc, March 6-8. Ask the Lord to lead men to join in this faith-building opportunity.

MISSION OF THE MONTH
The Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots (LAMP) is a cross-cultural ministry sharing the love of Jesus with God's people in remote areas of Canada through Christ-centered Bible studies, VBS, youth sports camps, and other outreach projects. They also provide continuing ministry through technology such as Facebook, Skype, and email. This year is the 50th anniversary of LAMP!

Sunday Bible class at First Immanuel has started a seven-week study of "The Fruit of the Spirit" -- love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Sunday Bible class At River of Life is doing a study on “Prayers From The Bible”.
Have you ever wanted to speak up during a sermon and say, “Pastor, can you repeat that last comment, it didn’t quite get that.” How about, “I really don’t understand where you are going with this message, Pastor!” SERMON REWIND can be your opportunity to do just that. SERMON REWIND will take place in the fellowship hall at First Immanuel from 10:10 – 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning. You can get your questions answered or get a sneak peek at the sermon of that day. It is an informal Q&A based discussion so bring your questions and your sermon outline!
STEPHEN MINISTRY MOMENT
“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!” Psalm 27:14 Stephen Ministers are caregivers. God is the curegiver. The role of Stephen Ministers is to give care. They listen, empathize, pray, and provide emotional and spiritual support on a weekly basis to hurting people for as long as the need persists. God works in and trough them to bring hope and healing. If you are feeling lonely, struggling through a difficult time, experiencing a crisis, or simply finding that you need to talk to someone confidentially, please call Pastor Reichmann at 377-6610. A care receiver need not be a member of First Immanuel or River of Life.
