Pastor’s Prayer Partners Petitions
|
|
Come, Lord Jesus, Come!
The second last verse of the Bible, Revelation 22:20, says,
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
This is actually the last prayer recorded in Scripture. It is a pray for Jesus to come back soon.
Have you ever prayed this prayer? When we pray about the future we usually pray about earthly things like good health, job advancement, our children’s well-being, our financial stability. We don’t often pray for the end of the age to come quickly. But we should!
Some might ask, “Why should I pray for this world to end when it has so much to offer? I have meaningful relationships with family and friends. I don’t want that to end!”
When Jesus comes back to take us to heaven, He will provide us a perfect place where our relationships will be even better than they are here in this world. Imagine living in the presence of Jesus, in the perfection of heaven with all the people of faith. There will be no more sin, sickness or sorrow; no more pains or problems; no more trials or tragedies. The worse day in heaven (if there ever could be one) is better than the best day on earth. We will live the life our heavenly Father had originally planned for us. It will be better than anything we can ever imagine. The best is yet to come!
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
Take a knee and pray,
~ Pastor Raasch

PRAYING FOR YOURSELF
Reflect on what is on your heart and mind and take it to God in prayer.
Is there something we can pray about for you?
|
|
- Susie Pipkorn and Bev Fricke as they recover from surgery. Pray for healing, patience, and wisdom.
- Shirley Kreklow as she receives hospice care. Pray for comfort, peace, and faithfulness for her and her family.
- Dick Larson and Jim Ruppel who are hospitalized. Pray for their medical teams, that God would bless them and use them as His instruments of healing.
- All who battle cancer, including Judy Wiechert, Gary Bergin, Kathy Schmidt, Jim Melichar and Pastor Joel Brandt. Pray that the Lord would bless their treatments, relieve their pain and strengthen them and their families in faith.
- Jean Button, Herm Scholz, Michael Herman, Genevieve Anschuetz, Sonia Buhrow, Dee Lewis, Katie Kubiac & Bernice Zeckmeister, as they contend with ongoing health issues. Ask the Lord to grant healing and strength for the body and peace and joy for the soul.

PRAYING FOR FIL MINISTRIES & OTHERS
Pray for our “Mission of the Month,”
Poblo International Ministries.
Poblo is a Christian organization that is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with Muslims and other immigrants and refugees living in the United States. Unlike in the past, American Christians do not have to go overseas to do mission work— the mission field is in our own front yard. Poblo International Ministries is responding to this change in demographics and revolutionizing the way the gospel is shared by engaging in cross-cultural missions and grassroots community outreach here in the United States and training and partnering with local churches.

Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust…” Psalm 40:4a Who is a care receiver? In Stephen Ministry, a care receiver is someone who needs a Christian friend. A care receiver is a person who needs someone to care, someone who can be trusted, someone to be there with regular visits during times of crisis, someone who listens, and someone who does not “do for” but is “there for” the care receiver. If you think this ministry might be helpful to you or someone you know, please contact Pastor Reichmann at 377-6610. Please ask the person’s permission before making a referral.
