The Northbrook Church Offices will be closed beginning Tuesday, November 21, at noon for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will reopen on Monday, November 27.

Thank you to all the families who served in our 2023 Pumpkin Patch. We raised around $9,500 for missions. Children who helped in the patch will receive a pin for their Milestone Stole during worship this Sunday.

Christmas at Northbrook

Join us in the Hanging of the Greens - decorating the worship and outdoor spaces at Northbrook for Advent and Christmas. We will be decorating Monday, November 27 and Tuesday, November 28 from 1-4pm. Join us for either or both. Contact Leslie Bowers to let her know you'll be joining.

Kick-off the season of Advent by making a Chrismon ornament, having a meal with family and friends, and learning a bit about what Advent IS... plus there might be a visit from a special man in a red suit! Wednesday, November 29, Dinner and ornament making at 5:30, Tree decorating and service at 6:15, Advent wreaths and pics with the big guy in the red suit at 6:45.

Join us for an evening of fun, holiday cheer! The Golden Bells of Atlanta will be presenting their Christmas concert on Monday, December 4 at 7:30 pm. The concert will be held in the sanctuary and will feature some of your favorite Christmas tunes! For more information, contact Chad Hunt.

Roswell High School Chorus will be hosting a Christmas concert here at Northbrook on Tuesday, December 5th at 7 pm. There will be a $5 donation taken at the door. For more information, please contact Chad Hunt.

 

Make plans to join us for our annual "Comforts and Joys" service! The Northbrook Chancel Choir, along with guest instrumentalists, will present this musical celebration during the 11 am traditional worship service on Sunday, December 17th. Mark your calendars and bring your friends and family!

Northbrook UMC Christmas Trees For Kids Sale

Northbrook UMC Christmas Trees for Kids This is the 20th!!! year of selling Fraser Fir Christmas trees from NC to raise funds in support of children. Every dollar of profit goes to support this Ministry. For the last 14 years we have supported Murphy Harpst & for the last 2 years Project Transformation. We’ve been blessed over the years to have donated over $420,000 to agencies supporting vulnerable children.

Acolyte Training | Sunday, December 3, 12-1:15 p.m.

All 3rd-5th graders are invited to learn how to serve God and the church in this vital role. An acolyte must attend two training sessions. Lunch is provided. If you missed the first session, you can still join. Contact Leslie to schedule a makeup class.”

Dedicate Flowers in Worship

Honor a loved one or commemorate an occasion with altar flowers. Also, the Flower Ministry needs volunteers to repurpose the flowers Monday morning, substitute as delivery drivers, and drop off small vases to the church kitchen.
