Midwest City Moves Forward!
Our community recently passed a $53 million dollar general obligation bond to improve many facets of Midwest City. Several of the upcoming advances will benefit tourism and the overall economic development of Midwest City.

In the upcoming years, we will see a fantastic new Town Center Park which will become a desirable concert and festival venue, major improvements to our golf courses, brand new soccer fields and multi-purpose athletic fields.

"It's the largest GO (general obligation) bond in the city of Midwest City's history. We're grateful and
thankful and we'll make our citizens proud. I promise that," Mayor Matt Dukes said.  "This wasn't a wish list . These were have-to's to keep us moving forward."
These are just a few of the betterment's that Midwest City will experience in response to the bond passing.

For more information on the improvements that will be seen in Midwest City, please visit MovingForward2018.org.
