Meditation Marathon

Dear Friends —

Please join us for our first ever online Midyear Meditation Marathon on Sunday, June 14. We'll practice together via Zoom from 10:30 am till about 2:00 pm PDT (1:30–5:00 pm EDT, 6:30–10:00 pm UK, 7:30–11:00 pm Paris). If you can be there from start to finish that's ideal, but otherwise just quietly slip in when you can and quietly slip out when you must. (But if this is your first time meditating with me in real time, please be there at the beginning.) No registration is required; to connect, just CLICK HERE.

We'll follow the same format as we did for our New Year's Marathon. Rather than meditating straight through, we'll practice in "rounds" — about 5 minutes or so of breath work or mantra, followed by half an hour of meditation, then a 10-minute break for stretching, bathroom, etc., before the next round. I'll provide minimal guidance as necessary, but we'll emphasize deep immersion in silent, direct experience rather than discussion.

This structure is geared toward those who've meditated with us before. If you haven't, please join us first for one or more of our regular Zoom sessions or at least do one or more of the guided meditations on our YouTube channel. Note: In case you come to the session late I'll need to recognize your Zoom name, so if it's currently, say, just a phone number or "iPad" or some such, please change it ahead of time. (Instructions here.)

People who attended our New Year's Marathon found it a powerful experience, whose effects continued to unfold over many days and weeks. In fact, I'm convinced that anytime people gather like this, sitting together (even via Zoom) in the deep silence of meditation, they generate waves of clarity and peace that somehow radiate outward to touch the whole world. I hope you'll join us.

Enjoy being,
