Without missing a beat, she facilitates both the Burning Bowl and the White Stone ceremonies with her perennial ease and grace. | | Our Board Secretary, Kathy Garcia adroitly handles the keynote for the service, while Board President Walt Massey handles the livestreaming of the service on Youtube. Instead, they chose to spend the day at the Atlanta History Center. Paula posted over 20 photos on her facebook page, and she and Mike said that didn't begin to cover everything they saw--plus all the other areas that they didn't have time to explore Sunday. They ate dinner at the History Center and said that they had a wonderful time. Happy birthday, Mike! And many more! | | | A Course in Miracles resumes today, Jan 8 | |

A Course in Miracles is a self study or group study spiritual curriculum that teaches a path to inner peace and love by undoing guilt through forgiveness, helping people realize their true oneness with God and each other. It uses Christian terminology but offers a universal, non-denominational path to spiritual awakening, focusing on shifting perception from fear to love.
The class meets weekly on Thursdays from 10-11:30 AM. The text that is used is from the Foundation for Inner Peace (the blue book). The curriculum repeats itself on a continual basis.Therefore, we will be starting at the beginning again today.

Why is Mike praying on the roof of his home?

Does he have a hidden cable attached to his body, and he's planning to make like Peter Pan and soar high above the rooftops?
Is he checking for a roof leak, and offering a brief prayer that he doesn't slip off the roof before he finds it?

Our small team of volunteers is dedicated to helping our fellow congregants by providing services such as delivering meals during a time of recovery, or offering transportation for a local medical appointment.
