   What happens when I pray?

When I pray, I see the face of God in all things.

When I pray, I hear the music of the spheres all around me.

When I pray, I touch the stillness.

When I pray, I taste the sweet nectar of soul connection.

When I pray, I feel the breath of the Spirit moving in me.

When I pray, I laugh in a spirit of pure joy.

When I pray, I love without measure, to infinity and beyond. :-)

Please join us for an immersive prayer experience.

Loving our Unity Family

Photos by Bob Sleczkowski and Suzi Henry

Karen Trostle gives a good impression of the Engergizer Bunny as she teams up with Mike for the weekly updates.

Mike's provocative talk about the Alchemy of Action reminds us that when you change your thoughts, you change your life.

Speaking of Alchemy in Action, Bob caught our beloved young tech guru recording his next to last service, which are livestreamed to Facebook and later loaded to Youtube. He always does a phenomenal job!

It is with mixed emotions that Sky steps away from his tech job after the August 17th service, for as the saying goes, he has received an offer that is just too good to refuse. Love and blesssings, Sky. We hope to continue seeing you often in our congregation.

Our treasurer, Mike Rizner, and our new Board President, Walt Massey, chat after the service. We are truly blessed with a vibrant and committed Board of Trustees.

Kathy Garcia and Ellen Gemmer share conversation and fellowship as they reflect on Mike's powerful message.

Speaking of life changing actions, Kathy Roberts is leaving her beloved Murphy home, pasture and pond to return to her roots in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Kathy leaves a legacy of exceptional volunteer service, including untold hours as a member of our Housekeeping team. We miss you already, Kathy. Please keep in touch.

Sometimes a single unplanned action makes an unwelcome change in our lives. Sunday we welcomed back Peggy and Mickey Lince. Still putting the finishing touches on their newly constructed Blairsville home, Peggy tripped on a heavy planter and sustained a severe ankle injury, which required a complicated surgery. The recovery has been no fun, but we bless Mickey for his tender, loving care, and we see Peggy fully healed.

Memories of Paul Kreher - A Life Well Lived

Photos by Suzi Henry

Gail Kreher shares memories of her beloved Paul, starting with the way they met and how they decided to blend their lives with marriage. There is never enough time, but we, like Gail, will always treasure special moments we spent with Paul.

Rev Robin Volker paints a glowing picture of Paul's life and adventures. He was well known for reaching out to each and every one he encountered with words of comfort, encouragement and praise for their efforts.

Paul and Gail's friend, Whisper, talks about the time she shared with Paul and Gail. She also praised his caring and compassion.

Paul's son, Jason, focused on his funloving spirit and his genuine love for children. He talked about the time that "G Paul" delighted 8 children by running from swing to swing and keeping them all "flying high."

Former Unity Church Board President Harry Dahl takes a turn at describing Paul's warm, outgoing personality and his zest for life.

A former colleague of Paul's is present with a number of his former students. He gave examples of how Paul shaped young lives.

As you can see by the above photos, the huge pavilion by the lake at Vogel State Park was filled to the brim with family and friends, as well as a large contingent of our Unity Church family.

On the left is a precious young lady who provided Max with a bowl of fresh water, which he gratefully drank. On the right is a Memory Table, covered with memorabilia and a wide range of photos depicting special moments in Paul's life. One that stood out is a picture of Paul with a huge grin, holding a can of spray paint and admiring his handiwork--a section of sidewalk inscribed with the message, "I love Gail." I ask you, Who could resist this guy? Certainly not Gail.

And here's a closeup of little Max, our unofficial Unity church mascot. He arrived at the party in his own specially rigged stroller, and he "spoke out" loudly at various times. Here he appears to be gazing at a picture of his best friend, Paul Kreher.

There were wild flowers on every table, and on the backs of these memory cards were the words to "It's a Wonderful World." Oh yeah.
