Today, on the first Sunday of July, we celebrate our inner power of understanding by playing with … kaleidoscopes?!?
Yes, we’re going to have 40 kaleidoscopes. Let’s practice seeing and un-seeing in a new and fresh way.
After all: is a kaleidoscope just a toy? Or is it a metaphor for life?

Loving our Unity Family

| | This Sunday Rev Robin Volker teams up with Spiritual Leader Mike Davis to take us on a trip "Into the Mystic." As we emerge from a soothing time of meditation, Rev Robin talks about miracles, and how we should expect them to appear in our lives with regularity. With angels among us, and God's love surrounding us, we know that we are divinely protected. | | As always, Jeri Lash gives us an inspiring prayer, she reads a Daily Word that invites us to "Release" all doubts and fears, and then she finishs with a sampling of inspiring quotes from widely diverse authors. And of course, Rev Robin's husband, Rick Volker, capably handles the Platform Leader's duties including prayers, tag teaming with Mike Davis to share the weekly updates, then leading us in a lively rendition of the Peace Song. Our Celebration Team changes weekly, but all of our team members do their part to keep the service fast paced, thought provoking and yes, entertaining! | |
Unity Adventure Club's July 19th Outing

| | Welcoming Special Visitors | | |
Sunday we had the pleasure of meeting 5 first time visitors, among them some very special Unity friends. In the first photo above are Rev Cheryl Driskell and Ann Therriault. Also pictured are Bob Lew (in the back row) and Matt Miller. Cheryl and Ann are from Unity of Ottawa in Quebec, Canada, where Cheryl has been serving as their Spiritual Leader.
They have been in the US for the past 2-1/2 months as Cheryl completed an internship with Unity of Kansas City North in Kansas City. Cheryl was newly ordained on June 16, 2025, and Ann completed her Licensed Unity Teacher training earlier this year. She also received her cetificate in the June 16th ceremony.
Ther are currently traveling through the southeast on their way back to Canada. Both Cheryl and Ann were students of Robin Volker's at the same time as Mike Davis, as they completed the classes necessary to move forward with their Unity education program.
In the photo below, Cheryl and Ann pose beside their shiny new 23 foot camper. This is their first journey in it, and they are enjoying it immensely. We congratulate them both on their hard earned achievements, and we are delighted that they were able to spend a little time with us.
