Rev Jim and Nancy Rosemergy are a dynamic team whose presence enriches our lives.

Jeanette Senart serves as our Sunday Prayer Partner, teaming up with Janet McIntire, who read the Daily Word.

This attentive group of congregants welcome Rev Jim's talk with warmth and enthusiasm.

Near the end of the service Mike invited Jim and Nancy Rosemergy, and all of our Prayer Partners, old and new, to come up front to be acknowledged. It was a gracious and lovely way to conclude another lovely service.

Rev Jim Rosemergy teams up with Michelle Coluccio to demonstrate that you can't light a candle unless it has a wick. This concept inspired Jim to wirte a book titled, "How to be a Wick in God's Candle." At the end of the class Jim, Nancy and the students walked out to our Meditation Garden, where everyone wrote affirmations on slips of rice paper and tied them to the branches of an apple tree planted by our Earth Care team. The class was insightful, thought provoking and deeply moving. Once again we recognize how very blessed we are that the Rosemergys chose to make their retirement home in our area and have now become an integral part of our Unity Church family. Below are more photos of this foundational event in the lives of our Prayer Partners.

On Thursday, June 4, Janet McIntire will lead a "Card Making" event at our church at 1:30 PM. The idea is to have fun while creating a whole slew of greeting cards, which we can then send out to our church family and other Unity friends for various occasions. Get well cards, notes of encouragement, maybe just a thoughtful "check in" card to say hello to someone we haven't seen at church for a while. Please plan to bring your own card stock, pens or brushes, and markers, ink or paints--and maybe some extra materials to share with others. Our congregation may be small in size, but it's big in verve and volunteerism. In this video, Mike acknowledges all of our teams and support groups who keep the daily operations of our church running smoothly. We are so blessed, and so very grateful for the the time, talent and treasures which are generously given by the devoted and dedicated members of our church family.

This is a brand new trail on 53 acres of recently donated conservation land which will be dedicated soon. This gorgeous hike to a 50 foot waterfall is under 2 miles round trip; however, it is a hilly trail. RSVP to Joanne Massey at 404-375-6789.

June 27 - 11:30 AM - Daniel Spivey's Memorial Service - 11:00 AM. Daniel visited our church several times before he had to enter a care facility. Refreshments will be provided. THIS EVENT WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR MAY 30.

PENNIES FROM HEAVEN - Your generous donations provide assistance for those occasional emergencies that sometimes befall our church family. You can place your cash contribution in a donation envelope, or write Pennies from Heaven on the memo line of your check. If you or someone you know needs help, please contact our Spiritual Leader, Mike Davis.



POSITIVE PATHWAYS - Our church family continues to support this worthy organization with donations of items needed to support their community outreach. This month, Linda Beaver, says they would appreciate donations of individually wrapped snacks and office supplies. The full list of their ongoing needs is posted on the bulletin board in the hallway.

ECUMENICAL FOOD PANTRY - Our food donations are now being taken to the Mountain Presbyterian Church, which is located at 3831 GA Hwy 515, Blairsville, GA 30512. The phone number is: 706-745-8036. While Mountain Presbyterian is the host church, there are a good number of area churches that have teamed up to help members of our community. A full list of needed items is posted in the hallway by the bathrooms.

IF YOU NEED HELP - Click here to Contact the Congregation Care Team. Our small team of volunteers is dedicated to helping our church family by providing assistance such as delivering meals during a time of recovery, or offering transportation for a local medical appointment. We also send out birthday and other greeting cards. WE CARE deeply for our church family, and you are invited to join our Congregation Care Team.
