Here's a little more information about The Dances of Peace, taken from the website of The International Dances of Peace. "They are transformative spiritual practices. They invoke an embodied sense of unity, presence and compassion and touch the spiritual essence within us. Offered in an atmosphere of safety, authenticity and mindfulness, they evoke a unified experience of movement, sound, breath and sacred phrase."

Afterwards, we will enjoy fellowship while we share food and beverages provided by our Hospitality Team. Everyone is welcome.

Our own Rev Marylou Cardoza gives another imaginative and memorable service, with assistance from Tiffany Martinez on the keyboard. They are a winning team, to be sure.

Janet McIntire captures the smiles of two of our very favorite people, Rev Jim and Nancy Rosemergy. We are delighted that they will share their insights and wisdom with us at our November 30 service.

Nov 22 - UCM Hiking & Adventure Club - 10 AM. Turtletown Creek Falls Loop - Meet at 10 AM at the trailhead. RSVP to Joanne Massey at 404-375-6789.

Nov 23 - Unity Family Thanksgiving - At the church, after the service. It will be a potluck meal, so dig into your recipe cards - or explore online for your new favorite dish for this event.

Dec 6 - Holly Jolly Christmas - Mike Davis and the Unity Mountain Singers will be featured carolers in the main lobby at the Blairsville/Union County Chamber of Commerce. Festivities, including Breakfast with Santa. start at 8 AM. Our one hour time slot will be announced later.

PENNIES FROM HEAVEN - Your generous donations provide assistance for those occasional emergencies that sometimes befall our church family. You can place your cash contribution in a donation envelope, or write Pennies from Heaven on the memo line of your check. If you or someone you know needs help, please contact our Spiritual Leader, Mike Davis.

POSITIVE PATHWAYS - Our church family continues to support this worthy organization with donations of items needed to continue their community outreach. This month our Super Volunteer, Linda Beaver, asks that we donate prepackaged snacks. As the days grow shorter and the temperatures are dropping, they can always use personal items like blankets, warm coats and other gently used seasonal clothing. Check the flyer in our hallway for a full list of their needs.

IF YOU NEED HELP - Contact the Congregation Care Team by clicking on the blue link. Our team of volunteers is dedicated to helping our fellow congregants by providing services such as delivering meals during a time of recovery, or offering transportation for a local medical appointment. We also send out birthday and other greeting cards. WE CARE deeply for our church family, and we welcome you to join our church's Congregation Care Team. WE NEED YOUR HELP so that WE CAN HELP OTHERS IN NEED. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
