When you set an intention to grow spiritually, you can expect that some mental obstacles will show up.

They might take the form of Fear, Attachment, Resistance or Unforgiveness.

As you recognize what's happening, you can prepare to rumble with them. Look at the shadows, weigh their validity, and then make your choices and decisions in a consciousness of clarity and understanding.

Are there some practical ways to work through FARU?

We are grateful for the consistent care that our EarthCare Team gives to our beautiful church grounds!

For the first time, our apple trees have a few pieces of fruit that are suitable for a snack!

A quick overview of our active EarthCare Team's projects:

The two apple trees and two peach trees were planted in the Spring of 2019 to celebrate Earth Day. Both the apple trees and peach trees have had a few pieces of fruit each year since then, but not until this year has there been any fruit that may be suitable for eating. In 2020 we built the large planter by the parking lot and planted flowers in the box and the gardens. We also planted the Carolina Sapphire trees, and wisteria that year as well. Last year we planted two dogwood trees and a maple tree. We didn’t plant anything at the church this year because of the uncertainty about the church moving. - Larry
