Licensing Program at Mike Russ Schools!

Greetings!

 

If you are thinking about getting your California Real Estate Salesperson or Broker License, then we have the solution for you!

To become licensed as a Real Estate Salesperson in California you must complete 3 Statutory (required) courses and pass the State exam. The Mike Russ Real Estate program has streamlined this process to make the process as easy as possible. First you must enroll in the Real Estate Salesperson program which includes the three required homestudy courses: Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one other elective class of your choice, as well as the 3 exam prep classes. Once you enroll in the program the Department of Real Estate mandates that you spend a minimum of 18 days on each course, and take a final exam for each of the 3 required homestudy courses. This mandate enables you to complete the required courses and attend the Exam Prep classes to prepare you for the State Exam.

NMLS Courses  

To write real estate loans, you must be registered with NMLS (National Mortgage Licensing System).

To register with NMLS, you must FIRST complete a 20-hour ONLINE pre-licensing course. This course is an online, self study course. This course may be completed at your own pace. This course meets the 20 NMLS course. Once you have completed thw 20-hour NMLS pre-licensing course you may take the test with NMLS and become a Licensed Loan Officer.
