MILD SO FAR... BUT SNOW FORECASTED
The winter to date has been a dry and mild and therefore concern is building for a challenging water year this coming summer. As shown in the graphic above, as of early January, north Oregon snow-pack is 20-40% of the normal range.
SNOW IS IN THE FORECAST
However, the upcoming forecast is for cooling wet weather with lowering snow levels. There is even the threat of valley snow next week so we will be on alert. As the potential for snow and ice develops, we will keep you informed. We are also maintaining our snow and ice warning signs on properties we provide winter storm services to and will again recommend our clients to send warnings and safety precautions to their employees and tenants when freezing weather is predicted.
