Join us in congratulating Jose Torres on his acceptance to McDaniel College!!!
McDaniel College is a private liberal arts college in Westminster, Maryland. Established in 1867, it was known as Western Maryland College until 2002 when it was renamed McDaniel College in honor of an alumnus who gave a lifetime of service to the college.

Saying Goodbye to Ms. Carol Wolf...
We are going to miss your dearly!
It is with mixed feelings that we announce the retirement of our beloved and much appreciated, Carol Wolf. It is difficult, to sum up, Carol’s achievements over the last seven years of dedicated service at MileStone Academy.
As a founding member of MileStone, Carol helped shape the vision and mission of our school because she knew as a parent of children that had learning differences how important it is to find the right school for your child.
Carol will always be remembered as a warm caring professional who was dedicated to helping children succeed. As the initial point of contact for parents looking for a placement for their children, she was committed to helping parents find the right school for their child even if it was not MileStone.
Even though she will no longer be working here she has agreed to continue her work on our Board of Directors.
Please join in our special tribute to celebrate Carol’s commitment and dedication and wish her all the best by participating in the tribute video.

As part of MileStone Academy’s Thanksgiving Feast, Ms. Appel decided to have a little pre-game with a challenging, yet fun science project!
Our hypothesis was:
Cranberries can float in water while holding a penny…or as many pennies you can stack without falling or sinking.
Did it work? Watch our video to find out...and then you can try at home!
We are so grateful for each and every student, faculty, staff, and volunteer of MileStone Academy. Enjoy this loving video recap of our 2021 Thanksgiving celebration.
