information today! We can't wait to see all of our students Monday, August 31!
MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT:
BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION:
BUS ROUTES ONLINE

Bus pick up and drop off information is listed online.

We recommend parents check their child's route information again this weekend because slight adjustments are still being made.

A good rule of thumb is to arrive at the bus stop five to seven minutes before scheduled pickup.
WHAT TYPE OF MASK IS ACCEPTABLE?

All Milford students attending In-Person and all staff are required to wear a cloth face covering that covers their nose, chin, and mouth. Click here to download this printable guide.
IMPORTANT FOR THOSE ATTENDING IN-PERSON: PERFORM A DAILY WELLNESS CHECK

It is vitally important that parents perform daily wellness checks on their children before sending them to school.

Take your child's temperature each morning and if they have a fever above 100 degrees, do not send them to school. If your child is showing any of these symptoms, do not send them to school: fever, loss of taste or smell, cough, difficulty breathing, or shortness of breath.

IN-PERSON STUDENTS: NEW ELEMENTARY PROCEDURES

In order to ensure the safety of staff and students, our elementary buildings have implemented new procedures.

Check out the video below, starring our Elementary Principals, explaining the new procedures:
IN-PERSON STUDENTS: WELCOME TO THE NINTH GRADE COMMUNITY!

On Monday morning, freshman will enter the Ninth Grade Community and go to their Advisory for 90 minutes. Students need to wear a mask and bring their Chromebook fully charged, a notebook, a folder, and a pencil/pen. Student schedules can be viewed on ProgressBook: the first number is their team, the room number means N for NGC, then the room numbers. Staff will be available to direct students where to go.

All students are assigned to a team and all of their core classes are in the same hallway together. During the first week Student Ambassadors will be placed throughout the building to guide students to their classes.

Check out this video tour of the NGC:
IN-PERSON STUDENTS: MJHS TOURS & VIRTUAL MEET AND GREET

Seventh graders will be able to tour the Junior High building this week. Parents are asked to check their email and sign up for a time slot. Students will be able to walk their schedule and familiarize themselves with the building. Student schedules can be viewed on ProgressBook.

IN-PERSON STUDENTS: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AT MHS

MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, families and students have experienced unprecedented changes in school and home life. SCHOOLOGY USED DISTRICT WIDE THIS YEAR

Milford Exempted Village School district is now using Schoology to streamline learning materials for students and parents throughout the district in grades K-12. With Schoology, students can view their class calendar, submit assignments, participate in interactive discussions, receive announcements and feedback, and take assessments.

Parents are able to view their child’s activity, calendars and assignments within Schoology. The Schoology Calendar is a place for students and parents to view assignments to help students stay organized and parents stay informed. A reminder email will be sent every Monday afternoon to remind parents of their child's upcoming assignments. ProgressBook is still the platform parents will use to access student grades.

Whether students are learning In-Person, through Eagle Online, or remotely, Schoology is the one learning platform that all teachers and students will use.

Check out this video to learn more about Schoology:
