Salt Lake City, UT - Discovery Gateway: The Children's Museum of Utah honors military families' service to the country by inviting them to play together at the museum on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, offering servicemen and women with current military ID 2-for-1 admission to the museum.
Memorial Day presents an excellent opportunity to educate children - military and civilian - about the true meaning of Memorial Day. Everyone is invited to the Imagination Station on the second floor of the museum from 12 - 4 pm, where Discover Gateway staff will be reading children's books about deployment and leading hands-on, flower-making workshops. Children will be encouraged to pay tribute to the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Discovery Gateway will be open during regular museum hours from 10 am - 6 pm on Memorial Day, and offers its special military discount throughout the year.
