 Happy New Year!

Welcome back, everyone!
We hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing and joyous time over the last few weeks. The students and staff wasted no time getting right back to work!

Please keep in mind that next Wednesday, January 11th is an Early Release Day. All students will be dismissed at 11:15am. If you need child care, please email Susanne to reserve your spot!

A few things of note coming up related to the spirit of giving...

Winter Food Drive...for our New Food Pantry!
Each Winter, the MFCS Community participates in a food drive.  This year, we are asking for your donations of  non-perishable dry-food items for our new Food Pantry.
Your donations will directly support members of our school community!

2017 Coat Drive
Mill Falls will be collecting clean, gently worn coats (any size) starting January 9th until January 30th!  Please drop them off in the donation box in the front lobby.  Please click here to see the flyer that went home today.

Box Tops for Education
Twice a year, all of the Box Tops for Education collected by members of our Mill Falls Community are counted and sent in for reimbursement. We are thrilled to report that our most recent collection of Box Tops has brought in over $400 to Mill Falls! There is a box in the front office all year, so let's keep up the great work! Drop off your Box Tops today!

2017 Calendar Raffle:
MFCS Parent, Lisa Zonfrillo, is already hard at work collecting exciting and enticing raffle items for our 2017 Calendar Raffle

Here's how you can help:
1: If you have any great gift certificates that you'd be willing to donate to the Calendar Raffle, please email Lisa or drop them off at the MFCS front desk!

2: Additionally, Lisa is also looking for a corporate sponsor to support the printing of our calendars. The sponsorship is $200. Would your company or a local business you know be willing to support this? Each printed Calendar and our on-line PDF will feature the name of our sponsor. Again, please be in touch with Lisa to learn more.
Thank you!
2017 Lottery Season
Earlier this week we kicked off the 2017 Lottery Enrollment Period, which closes on Friday, March 10th at 5pm.

We will be holding Lottery Information Sessions at school in January, February and March for those interested in enrolling in the Lottery. Attendance by applicants is STRONGLY recommended. The 2017 Lottery will be held on March 20th at Mill Falls.

We thank you for sharing this link with friends,
neighbors, colleagues and others interested in Mill Falls!

Interested in helping us welcome prospective families at the upcoming Lottery Information Session? If so, please click here. The first session is next Thursday, Jan. 12 at 6pm...We are in need of Parent Ambassadors!
Thank you!

MFCS Parents/Guardians please note: Children currently enrolled at Mill Falls DO NOT participate in the Lottery. Once enrolled at school, they stay with us and move along from grade to grade. Next Friday, we will be sending you the 'Intent to Continue' form so that you can tell us your plans for your children in the 2017/18 school year.
  We Have A Winner!

Thanks to all those who are participating in our Family & Friends Monthly Giving Program. As part of that program, the names of program participants are drawn monthly in a small gift raffle. The winner of this month's raffle prize is the Sathappan Family! Thank you Satu & Then for your years of support!  The prize this month is a gift certificate to Starbucks.

Corporate Matching
We LOVE corporate matching and hope to connect with more businesses large and small this year to grow our corporate match partnerships. Please help be part of that effort! Inquire with your employer today to find out if they will match your donations. If you have any questions, please send Meryl an email. Thank you!!

Give & Gets, aka Effort-Free Giving
A reminder that Mill Falls is enrolled in a number of programs which are designed to provide small financial donations from places many of us shop regularly. These 'Give & Get' opportunities are mapped out on our website... click here to find out more!
