December, already!?!
|
|
Welcome back from what we hope was a wonderful
Thanksgiving Holiday
for all. Our Students and Staff are hard at work and will be for the next several weeks until we break again in late December. Between now and then there is plenty cooking and we want to be sure you take a moment to mark your calendars, so thanks for taking a few minutes to read today's newsletter carefully. Don't miss the details below about our annual
Movie Night
, which is scheduled for next Friday, December 7th.
Thanks to our staff and to our families for making the smooth transition this week to the
new traffic flow for arrival and dismissal. Please remember to
a
llow PLENTY of space for the school buses
to turn in and out of the parking lot area, and please remember to be careful and
keep speeds down
especially when approaching the lower parking lot. Union Leader staff park their cars there, and we want to be sure to be good neighbors.
IMPORTANT additional NOTE:
Please be sure to go ALL the way down to the bottom parking lot BEFORE entering the circle during drop off and pickup times. Be kind, no line cutting.

Laptop Computer Needed!
The Front Office is in need of a gently used PC running Windows 7 or higher to be a friendly conduit to the new photocopier. If you have one in good working order that you are willing to donate,
to discuss the details. Thanks!

Winter is upon us now, so please be sure that your child comes to school with appropriate
winter gear
- coats, boots, gloves and hats. We will go outside for recess and fitness (on Mondays) unless the real feel is below 20 degrees or it is dangerously icy out there. If you need assistance gathering those winter-weather items for your child, please be in touch with Meryl.
Please remember to keep an eye on
WMUR when the weather looks frightful. We generally follow the Manchester School District, but we also post our school's schedule on WMUR.
When we have a delayed opening: we have NO BeforeCare and NO Kindergarten Class. Students
normally
enrolled in our KinderCare program may be dropped off at 12pm.

Wishing all of our friends who are celebrating Chanukah, which begins this weekend, a very happy holiday!

December 7th: Movie Night!
|
|
MFCS Annual
Movie Night
next Friday, Dec. 7th!
Doors Open at 6:30pm
Movie Starts at 6:45pm
Pickup is at 8:30 pm
Enjoy a night out during this holiday season, while your children take in a movie at school. Mill Falls staff members will be here at school with the children during the movie screening. While the children are in our care, you can enjoy some time to meet up with friends, do some holiday shopping, or just enjoy some relaxing kid-free time.
This year, we will be showing the
Incredibles 2, a Pixar/ Disney production.
Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is left to care for the kids while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world. Lots of great stars have lent their voices to the film, and it's become an instant favorite.
