CORPORATE SPONSORS

We gratefully acknowledge the ongoing contributions from the following corporate partners:

  Such Generosity!

So many thank you's are in order this week in recognition of the incredible generosity we have seen shared.

Let's start with our Annual Coat Drive - thank you Ms. Susanne for organizing this, and thanks to SO many of our Mill Falls Families and Friends who brought in over 90 coats(!), 40 hats, 8 pairs of boots and many more mittens and scarves. We are proud to share this incredible load of kindness with Families Transition (FIT), who will in turn share all of these winter items with the families they serve. All clothing was picked up by FIT this afternoon in time for their upcoming holiday party.

We also want to send a HUGE shout out to the many talented cooks who provided such a wonderful luncheon for staff on Wednesday - our Early Release / Professional Development Day. This month, Hospitality Committee Coordinator, Hind Bashier, created a menu to reflect the upcoming all-school continent study of Europe. She put out a call for dishes, and our families created an incredible meal! Special thanks to Hind, Molly, Meghan, Intisar, Lauren, Lamis, Hala and Julie for providing so many delicious dishes! Yum!!!! Stay tuned for information from your children and their teachers about the all-school continent study!

We also want to send a special thanks to Ms. Laura B, Ms. Laura W and Ms. Devon for staffing our Annual Movie Night. We had over 60 children with us that evening here at school to enjoy a movie and snack on popcorn donated by Mark Adam at Cinemagic in Hooksett.

So many items have been coming in from Amazon since we published our Wish List. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for taking the time to go through the list and select items requested by staff! To learn more about this,  please click here.

We also want to acknowledge an MFCS family who gave an anonymous gift filled with kindness and love to those in our school community who are food insecure. For the 2nd year in a row, this family, who wishes to remain anonymous, has provided individual Hannaford gift cards to each of those who receive food from our Food Pantry..

We are thrilled to announce that our Spirit Wear arrived this week and was sent home this afternoon. We LOVE the new spirit wear logo and can't wait to see members of our MFCS Community sporting the new look! Thanks to Ms. Roxanne and to our vendor,  Granite State Apparel  for working together this year.

  Help Us Sparkle!

Earlier this week, the MFCS Foundation sent out its 2018 Annual Appeal. The funding request always features work by MFCS Students and this year it includes a wonderful piece by Upper Elementary Student, Mason. The Foundation is the non-profit organization that sits beside our school - singularly purposed to raise funds for our public Montessori program.  We share the 2018 Annual Appeal mailer here so you can enjoy Mason's work. Please consider making a donation to the Annual Appeal.

To make your year-end contribution to support our public Montessori school,

Donations may be made by check (made out to MFCS Foundation) or via PayPal. Please remember to check with your employer to see if your company  provides matching funds to your donation!

Thank you Mason, for sharing your beautiful artwork with us this year, and for helping inspire the headline of this year's mailer:

This month, our Lower Elementary Students have explored Kwanza, Chuanukah and Christmas, learning about each holiday and making crafts. Below students in Acadia worked on paper ornaments, the string to hang the ornament was carefully measured by each student to match his/her height.
