CORPORATE SPONSORS

We gratefully acknowledge the ongoing contributions from the following corporate partners:

We Opened Our House...

...And so many of you came to celebrate the students' projects created during our All-School Study of the African Continent. Thanks so much for taking time to be here with us. It was a fantastic showing of support, and the children knocked it out of the park! They shared their dioramas, poster, slide shows, dances, stories, skits and more. You shared your curiosity and support and for that we are so grateful!  After you left, the children shared their projects with one another, and with the NH Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Education who visited as well.

Congratulating our own MFCS dad and MFCS Foundation Board Member, Newton Kershaw, and to MFCS uncle Will Craig, who were named to the 2018 Union Leader's list of 40 Under 40, which celebrates members of our community for their leadership and service. This is the second year in a row that a dad from our school community has received this honor!

Many thanks to the chaperones who helped make the Lower Elementary Students' trip to the performance of Clementine at the Capital Center for the Arts, a great success!

A reminder we have our next  Early Release Day on Feb 14th.  T he Upper Elementary Winter Dance on Feb 16th . We have lots of other fun things planned, as we fast approach our 100th Day of the 2017/18 School Year.

Please remember to keep an eye on WMUR - we are hearing there is some winter weather brewing for early next week. Stay warm and have a great weekend!

Special thanks to Ms. Roxanne & Ms. Alyssa for leading the Pink Day Art Project. Our school participated in coloring Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbons that were used to decorate the SNHU Gym!

THIS SATURDAY: As you've seen in photographs from earlier this school year, members of the Junior Monarchs Team volunteer as reading buddies at Mill Falls as well as at other schools around town. As thanks to the schools for providing the Team with volunteer opportunities, they invite all members of those school communities to their Appreciation Game on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2pm.  The game will be held at Tri-Town Ice Arena, 311 W. River Road, Hooksett, NH . Students are free, adults are $5 each or $10 for a family.  Please note, this is not a school-sponsored event.

Save the Date: Night of Community

3rd Annual
Night of Community

June 9th at 6pm

Please plan to join us for an adult gathering and celebration in support of our school community.

This year, we have a new venue partner - the Palace Theatre! MFCS event organizers, Rachel Marziano and Mel Johansson are hard at work with ideas for the event, which will be held in the Palace's newest space, just beside the Theatre on Hannover Street.

This annual event provides a wonderful opportunity for adults in our community to spend time together while raising critical funds for our school.

To learn more about the event, and find out how you can lend a hand, please contact Rachel Marziano.

M ontessori Moments...
The Africa Study Open House began with a festive series of
performances by our Upper Elementary Students...

Our visitors were then encouraged to enter the classrooms
to hear from the children about their research.

After our invited guests departed,
the students explored one another's projects going room-to-room...
