 Full Speed Ahead!

It has been a pedal-to-the-metal kind of week here at school, featuring the Lower Elementary field trip to Squam Lake, culminating projects, Step Up Night, and assessments in preparation for our final trimester's progress reports. There is also LOTS of preparation going behind the scenes as we prepare for the final events of the year from Field Day to our Night of Community to our 6th Year Student Graduation. And as we put the final touches on this newsletter, our Upper Elementary Dance Committee is decorating our common space for the final Upper Elementary Dance of the year! Thanks to all who donated items and time to make the event so memorable for our students!

We started today with a celebration of our incredible Mill Falls Volunteers. Each year our Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast is catered by staff as a small token of our heartfelt thanks for all that our volunteers do and share with our school community. We feel so very fortunate to have so many amazing people who share their time and talent with our staff and students. We were pleased to be able to thank those who could be with us in person, and to all of our volunteers we say, THANK YOU!!!

The Field Day Committee and Ms. Laura  have put the final touches on next Friday's big event. Yes, that's right, Field Day is right around the corner!! If you haven't read about the details of this year's Field Day, please be sure to do so in the box below. Volunteers are urgently needed! Please click here to lend a hand!

The Annual Night of Community is the day after Field Day. Rachel Marziano, Kim Robinson and Meryl have been working on those details. It's a great event each year that is both a social gathering and a fundraiser, but...
it won't be a party without YOU!

**Final headcount due to the venue and caterer by Tuesday!!!**

Thank you to those who joined us earlier this week for our Annual Parent Step Up Night. The night is carefully designed for parents whose children are entering a new program level at our public Montessori school. Step Up Night offers parents the chance to meet all members of the program level, and learn about the unique Montessori curriculum. It provides valuable information for parents and guardians and context for what your child will be learning and HOW their curriculum will be delivered in our unique setting. If you are the parent of an incoming Kinder, a current Kinder or a current 3rd Year Student, but did not attend, the handouts will be sent home with your child or emailed to you. Please take some time to review, and if you have any questions, please be in touch with Laura Wrubleski at laura.wrubleski@millfalls.org

We continue our work to finalize our student roster for next year . We aim to have all enrollment finalized by the end of the school year. Of course we hope all of our students will remain with us, but that isn't always the case. S o
if your plans for next year have changed, and you have decided your child will not be returning, please let us know ASAP so t hat we can reach out to families on our waitlist and invite them for a visit before the year ends. Our state funding is linked to our enrollment; so we must have a full 168 student count in order to get all the funding available and that our budget is based on. Thank you in advance for being in communication with us about any enrollment changes or considerations you may have for next year!
