Running Fun!
|
|
Last Sunday we held our
2nd Annual Road Race & Fun Run. The weather was incredible, as was the effort by our runners and event planners. The result was a resounding success! Please join us in once again thanking MFCS mom,
Amanda Gerardi, for her tireless and highly detailed work in creating the event.
All runners in the Fun Run were rewarded with ribbons, and our winning-most runners
(children and adults) in the (nearly 5K) Road Race were rewarded with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Our top three student runners were Elias, Lucas and Mia.
An event like this requires the participation and generosity of so many.
Special thanks to both Scotts at BrandIt! for printing and donating our Race Day T-shirts. Shout out to
Helen Davies and her team at SNHU for hosting the event and donating food and beverages.
Thanks to
MFCS dad, Ryan Frew,
for sponsoring the event and sharing his
Jr. Monarch's Team
with us as a volunteer force. His players, along with members from the
SNHU Women's Lacrosse
and
Basketball Teams
, provided a great group of young athletes to inspire and support us during the event.
Fun was had by all and plans are already underway for next year's event!
Interested in getting involved in planning for next year?
Please send us a note!
A reminder that our
