CHARLESTOWN, Indiana (November 12th, 2019) -The Pro Modified Four Wheel Drive Truck class of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League has been widely known for its high level of competition for many years. For the past two years a puller has stood apart from his peers, with a championship in 2018 and now again in 2019 as David Mills and his Dodge named "War Wagon" from Knoxville, Tennessee celebrates back-to-back championships.
Mills separated himself from the pack early in the season with a win and second place at the season opener at the Rudy's Diesel event in Julian, North Carolina. Coupled with wins at Rossville, Illinois and Hillsboro, Wisconsin and two more top-five finishes across an 11-hook season, Mills distanced himself from the second place "Renegade" Dodge of Graham Young and third place Charlie Hinds and the "Runnin Wild" Ford.
David will be honored for his accomplishments at the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions Banquet on November 23rd, 2019 at the Marriott Downtown in Louisville, Kentucky. He will be joined by other points champions from the Champions Tour, Silver Series, and Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region.
