FALL GREETING FROM LEADERSHIP

As we reflect on this past year, we do so with deep gratitude and pride as we witnessed resilience, fortitude, and an unwavering commitment for our community. Millstone Fund is thankful to work alongside each of our non-profit partners and the people they support.

In 2025, Millstone Fund continued to pursue impact through multiple grantmaking strategies and partnerships that prioritized opportunity and access across our pillars of health, education, and art. Our team continued to manage and improve an open request process, listen to community partners regarding emerging needs, and amplify stories and needs to the broader community. Millstone Fund's commitments have deepened in both scope and impact, evolving into important collaborations with the potential for long-term impact in our community. Working alongside regional partners, we supported collective efforts that continue to address systemic challenges in education, mental health, and community well-being.

The priority to invest in mental health led to many significant grants. Millstone Fund provided additional support to HEY! Cincinnati to enable a regional school to participate in the "Schools of Wellness" program. This innovative pilot program is designed to create a healthier school environment across all the domains of wellness. A large multi-year grant to Beech Acres Parenting Center entered the second year, advancing a novel school-based, two-generation approach to supporting child mental, behavioral, and developmental health. A significant investment was made in Best Point's Western and Southern Childcare and Wellness Center. This center will provide care and mental health support in an area of our community that lacks these resources. Other impactful Millstone Fund grant awards that span health, education, and the arts are highlighted in this Fall Newsletter.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Millstone team will continue to work with our nonprofit partners who are addressing both persistent and new community needs. Millstone is committed to continuing to learn from the innovation and perseverance of its partners, using those insights to guide future investments that strengthen the fabric of the community.

Sincerely,

The Millstone Fund Board of Directors
