During Yom Kippur a few weeks ago, we reflected on how to be the best people we can. With Chagim celebrations over, we hope everyone is off to a great start in 577 9! We are excited to continue our work together to strengthen our community and the Jewish State.

We are honored to announce that Gila and Adam will be recognized for their outstanding philanthropic work at B'nai B'rith’s 175th Anniversary Gala this month in New York City.

We are also excited to share the trailer for Jerusalem U's newest film: Sustainable Nation. Gila and Adam are proud to co-produce this film, which tells the inspiring story of how three Israeli visionaries are using Israeli technology to help tackle the world’s water-energy crisis.

Lastly, we're pleased to feature our partner Jimena, which works to preserve Mizrahi and Sephardi culture and history, educate the public about the heritage and history of Mizrahi and Sephardi Jews, and advocate for the 850,000 Jewish refugees from the Middle East and North Africa.

We thank you for all that you do to advance our shared mission. We look forward to partnering with you in the year ahead, as we work together to strengthen the bonds between the State of Israel, the American people, and the Jewish people.

Wishing you a 5779 blessed with serenity, happiness, and fulfillment.
May next year see peace for the state of Israel and the Jewish people.

With sincere love and admiration for Israel and the Jewish people,

Gila and Adam Milstein

Featured Organization: Jimena
JIMENA ’s mission is to achieve recognition for the heritage and history of the 850,000 Jewish refugees from the Middle East and North Africa and their descendants to create balance in attitudes, narratives, discourse, and negotiations about Middle Eastern refugees and the modern Jewish experience.

With support from The Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation, JIMENA combats anti-Semitic revisionist history on college campuses and in young adult Jewish communities by sharing the personal stories of former Jewish refugees from Arab countries and Iran. The Milstein Family Foundation has also generously supported JIMENA’s efforts to educate and engage local congressional offices and the Los Angeles City Council on initiatives to protect the confiscated assets and the rights of Jewish refugees from Arab countries and Iran.

JIMENA’s diverse programs help achieve its ultimate objective of redress for former Jewish refugees and their descendants in the form of official international acknowledgment, uniformly articulated across all branches of US government policy and in mainstream Jewish communal life.
