6th grade students in Mrs. Jewell’s reading class create thought bubbles to infer what the teacher was thinking in various situations from the novel, Joey Pigza Swallowed the Key.

WFMS hosted its 2nd annual school wide Spelling Bee today. Congratulations to 6th grader William Kilcrease. He will represent WFMS in the regional competition. He is a two-time spelling bee champ! | |
The WFMS Mardi Gras Court entertained the students with Mardi Gras games between rounds of the spelling bee. 8th graders, Jaxson Smith and Eliana Grimsley, the students with the highest AR points in the school, were named King and Queen at the end of the program. | |

Bains Junior Beta Marketing & Communications students worked with Mayor Bobbee Leake and the town's Beautification Committee to plant the kiosk pots for the spring. These students were tasked with creating a plan to beautify their community. They will present their plan at the Elementary Junior Beta Convention in a few weeks! | |
