We were grateful and honored by providing a tour of the new Bains Elementary and the new WFHS Career and Technical Center!

Elliot Vosburg, Dean Johnson, Nico Mendel, Chloe Singleton, Jordyn Cazalot, Garrick Gordon and Evan Smith receive a signed football from the WFHS team for leading the Pledge of Allegiance and the Rotary Four Way Test for the St. Francisville Rotary Club. The St. Francisville Rotary Club toured the new Bains as part of their weekly meeting.

WFMS Saints defeats Northwestern 14-8 on a beautiful Fall night in Saints stadium.  Go Saints!

Coach McKinsey Shaffer presented Principal Karolyn Taylor with the first place trophy from the womens division of the Brusly Cinclaire Cross Country Meet.

Brock Cormier, WFHS Junior, placed third overall in the mens division of the Brusly Cinclaire Meet.

Ms. Whittaker’s class was showing what they know in Fundations today. They were able to “mark up” their words correctly!

Culinary students, Samaria Berry, Luke Roubique, Shelbie Welch, Tia Milton, Madison Arbuthnot, Amaya LeMay, are learning to read labels and compare nutrition aspects according to dietary guidelines.

DE World History students, Le’Trevion Washington, Aniya Hollins, and Trinity Sams, participate in a college forum discussion with other LSU DE students throughout the state. The topic of discussion was ancient religions.

Advanced Placement (AP) Biology students, Emillie Williams, Naya Rogers, Neil Rachal and Macy Walker observe the diffusion  process  after applying bleach to a different sizes of beet cubes.


Football players Ryan Funderburk and Mason Rogillio shine off the field too while they stop and jot through comparing federal and state preambles in Mrs. Davis’s 8th grade Louisiana History class .

Students in Ms. Hab’s 7th grade STEM class use the engineering design process to make cars powered by mousetraps. After they made their cars they got to race them down the hallway. Will Noble and Noah Vosburg race their cars to see which one will go the longest distance.

Students in Mrs. Williams and Ms. Guttery’s 8th grade ELA classes learned about the characteristics of oral expression and performed poems from “The Crossover” for their classes. Curtis Minor performs one of his favorite poems from the book.

Beginning September 12th, West Feliciana Parish students will have the opportunity to explain "What makes West Feliciana Parish a special place to live" through an essay writing contest. A special thanks to the St. Francisville Area Foundation and KG&L Capital Management Group for partnering with us to sponsor this fun and rewarding contest that encourages writing and identifying what makes our parish special. #wearewestfel #gratefel
