Sudden changes in water flow can really pound the pipes of your fire-protection sprinkler systems. Avoid system damage with
Valves from Milwaukee Valve. And for fire protection systems charged from domestic (potable) water lines, ensure compliance with our proven lead-free*
When you need lead-free valves for potable systems, Milwaukee Valve provides the widest coverage of products for virtually every potable water application covered by the new standards of U.S. Senate Bill S.3874. Fully certified by independent testing agencies, the UltraPure line features robust alloys that exceed the stringent requirements of Federal Low Lead law.
The UltraPure Butterball is available in 1"-2" (threaded end) sizes. Standard Butterballs are available in 1"-2½" (threaded end) and 2"-2½" (grooved end) sizes. An internal tamper switch (indoor/outdoor use) signals disc movement. Butterball has been approved by NYC Board of Standards & Appeals for 350 and 500 psi in hi-rise buildings, and carries UL and FM approvals for up to 175 psi.
Not every valve is required to be lead free. Milwaukee Valve's trained sales representatives and informative
website can advise you on where you need lead-free valves, and where you don't. From new construction installations to retrofits and repairs, our superior valve quality, system design services, engineering expertise and onsite technical assistance help you save time and money.
