Conveniently and beautifully located on Mimico Memorial Park in the west end of the city, kids will enjoy playing tennis surrounded by large trees. Rest assured that our coaches and staff have attended a safety measure workshop and will cautiously adhere to safety guidelines provided by the Ontario Government. Note that camp details are subject to change.

Full Day and Half Day
We will be offering the following programmes during the weeks of July 20, July 27th
August 3rd and August 10th. Camps are weekly.
Note that players participating at Mimico Tennis Club need to register for a Junior Membership with the club - the fee is $40 for the season.

Rain Policy: Programs will be cancelled due to rain. Our staff will be monitoring the weather and parents/guardians will be contacted in advance to ensure they know when to come pick up their child. Due to Covid-19, we will not be using the clubhouse, so parents/guardians must pick up their child in the event of rain

Our certified, experienced, and passionate coaches will provide a fun, healthy, and educational environment for kids to learn tennis. Our staff consists of individuals with university undergraduate and master’s degrees, Tennis Canada coaching certifications, and former top Canadian junior and open players. Our coaches are full-time professional career coaches who are members of Tennis Canada’s Tennis Professionals Association.

This programme is fun with an emphasis on developing the love of the sport, and the essential tennis and athletic fundamentals of all players to provide them the opportunity to pursue tennis recreationally or competitively. The first level of progressive tennis, this camp uses larger decompressed balls to allow for easier learning, 19"-21” racquets, mini-sized nets and courts (12m court), which are proportional to the sizes and skills of the students.

SMASHING ACES Age 8 - 12  
This fun programme is for beginner and intermediate level kids, and teaches kids to rally, serve, play points, and learn the rules and etiquette of the game. Through the combination of a variety of sports, fun fitness drills, and games, children will further develop their overall athleticism.

Group Lessons
1.0 - 1.5 (Beginner)
Learn basic tennis footwork, technical fundamentals, and ball control in order to rally, volley, and serve to get you playing the game quickly
Saturday:  4:00pm - 5:00pm – 4 weeks
Fee: $60.00 + hst.

2.0 - 2.5 (Beginner)
Learn the technique required to implement singles and doubles tactics in point play.
Saturday:   5:00pm - 6:00pm – 4 weeks
Fee: $60.00 + hst,
3.0+  (Intermediate)
Improve the consistency of your ground strokes when forced to move, your ability to attack and to win at the net, and the quality of your first and second serve.
Saturday: 6:00pm - 7:00pm – 4 weeks
Fee   $60.00 + hst.
