We have more light, and warmer weather. This is nature's birthing season -
a time of creation, development and new ideas.
In early cultures the new year started on the Spring Equinox when the sun enters the first sign of the Zodiac. Aries is the great beginner and the starting point for the year's activities. Daylight Savings Time begins on March 11 at 2:00AM. Don't forget to turn your clock ahead. The Vernal Equinox is on March 20, which heralds the beginning
of Spring when day time equals night.

MARCH 1- the transiting Sun is 11 PISCES a mutable, water sign. Pisces natives are sensitive, intuitive, imaginative, and compassionate. They seem to wear an invisible sign on their heads which says, "I can help you". Nurses and other health care professionals may have Pisces in their charts.

Everything is a choice. Whether it be a food, a movie, a job or a plan of action. Correct decisions fit our needs and life purpose. All good decisions are self based - even helping others. We get ultimate pleasure from good deeds we enjoy. Warm feelings that come from love and service fulfills us.
If not self guided and strong, we could be swayed by others who think they know what is best for us. They only know what is best for them.
Correct choices feel right. Good decisions uplift our energy and turn out to be accurate in the long run.Directed by inner guidance, we know what benefits us. Good decisions come from self awareness, and
becomes stronger with use.

WEIGHT LOSS
We survived the winter cold and the lack of light. Time for a change. Weight loss is easier when we have abundant daylight and can exercise outside.
Decide on a physical activity you want to use to burn up calories. It must be something you like - or it won't work. Is it competitive like tennis or meditative like running or yoga? Some like to count the number of repetitions using machines and weights. We all have our preferences. For me, walking and yoga balances sitting at the computer. 3-5 times a week offers good results and a new body.
Spring is the greening season. Green plants and trees are returning. Eat greens to detox from winter. Green plants contain chlorophyll, a cleanser and re-builder of cells. This is
Spring Cleaning time. Perfect for upgrading diets, detoxifying the body, the home, the mental chatter, emotional patterns, and physical clutter as well. Clear out - enjoy nature, be active, remove mental stress.

SPIRIT PISCES AND GRATITUDE
Meditation is easier when the sun is in Pisces. Mental clarity shines through and life appears brighter.
We bless our lives with an attitude of gratitude.
Gratitude that is expressed, magnetizes our flow of receiving. Surrendering to gratitude softens our egos and enhances our higher alignment. Gratitude is a form of prayer and positive thinking that opens the door to well being.
