Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom,
I have roots going back to the California Gold Rush. Artemis Wheeler came overland from New Hampshire to set up a store in the midst of the men driven by the spirit of mammon. And that "fools gold" has persisted in California up until now.
"The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the LORD of hosts." Haggai 2:8.
The other day the Silicon Valley Bank folded. A thousand people each day are leaving "the Golden State." Homelessness abounds. The budget is $40 billion in the red. The current Governor is boldly anti-Christian, creating an abortion sanctuary. " When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan." Proverbs 29: 2.
" Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, who write misfortune, which they have prescribed to rob the needy of justice, and to take what is right from the poor of My people." Isaiah 10:1-2
Of course there are exceptions, but largely we have chosen a fools good lifestyle in California instead of finding Him and His call on our lives: " In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 1 6-7
" Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days." James 5: 1-3
As the Lord leads please join me in this prayer: " Heavenly Father, in Yeshua's Name, the Name above all names, and in His full authority in heaven and on earth, I pray for Your Truth to conquer the anti-Christ spirit and the spirit of mammon in Your land we call California. May You touch Your shepherds to lead many into Your Kingdom, causing a huge wave of repentance and conversions into Your Kingdom in these last days, a wave that travels across the nation and to all nations. May California be known from this day forward for its welcome to all and its public acknowlegment of You as the True Gold, needed day after day in our lives, as we turn to follow You as Lord God Almighty, getting ready for Your soon return. In Yeshua/Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen."
