Can you believe it's been 8 years since you said goodbye to Bill, hello to Jill?
If you'll allow me a brief moment of reflection on my anniversary with the Belleville Chamber this week, it has been the best time through some of the worst times. When I started, I was so excited but honestly terrified someone would decide they'd made a mistake, or I had just been dreaming.
While some things seem the same, almost everything has changed. I would say for the better, but it hasn't all come without adversity, loss or sadness. And change requires learning every day and adjusting always to new understanding.
Thanks to all who've been along for the whole ride and those who've joined along the way for being a part of what makes this the best. job. ever.
