Stories of God's faithfulness in our everyday lives are powerful! I know I'm not alone when I admit that recalling the times God has shown up has kept me going on the days I don't understand God's ways.
Friends have told me that hearing my "God Moving" stories make them want more of God. I bet you have amazing stories as well that God can use to stir hearts and help people “see” God’s hand in your life in a way that makes him more real and relational.
But here is the catch - sharing stories in an impactful way requires a bit of thought upfront.
First, reflect on the moments where you've seen God show up in tangible and visible ways. Sometimes, these moments aren't immediately obvious but become clearer over time. Spend a few minutes looking through your journal and look for places where you’ve poured out your heart to God and now you can see how he showed up, clearly guided, and/or answered your prayers. If you journal with the Spiritual Circle Journal you'll have some of the details you need as bullet points in the "God Moving" circle or in the summary pages (in the back of the big journal).
Next, once you see the stories, the key is to own your stories and share the right details with others when the right opportunity arises. Too many details, and it becomes confusing; too few details, and no one can connect the dots of the story to see God orchestrating.
