NEW! God's Work, Our Hands: Feeding the Hungry

On September 13, 2026, we will be having our meal assembly event for “God‘s Work, Our Hands” Sunday. Last year, we made 20,000 meals in about two hours. ALL of the meals went to local food banks. This year we will be doing another 20,000 meals. Half will be macaroni and cheese and half will be rice and beans.
We will meet in the Fellowship Hall, right after worship at 10:30 am. After we are done with the meals, we will have something to eat! No need to sign-up in advance.

Special Guest presenters Beth Houting, Executive Director at Schwenkfelder Library and Heritage Center, and Scott Houting, Curator and Executive Director of the Peter Wentz Farmstead, will present their findings on the names, dates, and various other markings peppered throughout the church as well as the context and historical significance. Come discover the untold stories of Old Trappe Church and a rather unique aspect to this historical building. The presentation and luncheon will follow the 10:30 AM service. A non-refundable registration fee of $10 is charged per space (parking lot size) for the selling of one's items. Office Assistant – Part Time
Immanuel Lutheran Church in the far Northeast is looking for an individual who has experience as an Office Assistant with the ability to multi task, possess articulate communication skills, along with a strong attention to detail and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Background in Servant Keeper and Publisher, IT experience and knowledge of the German language are helpful, however, not required. Compensation based on experience.
This is a part time position, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, three to four days a week and is flexible.
Accepted applicant will be required to pass a child abuse background check.
