TLN

When I was young, my daughters believed there was nothing I couldn’t do! Admittedly, there are moments I strive to achieve that level of confidence even now. When my 29-year-old newlywed daughter recently brought me some laundry garments requiring “special attention,” I took on the challenge.

Years of experience would guide me, but I didn’t factor in that this experience would speak a message to my heart for you! One by one, the stains were lifted from each crisp, white article of clothing. Some stains took longer to remove, but eventually, each one disappeared until there was no trace of any stain at all!

“White as snow!” were the words coming immediately to mind followed by this Scripture from Isaiah 1:18 (KJV):

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Then this Scripture from Micah 7:19 (NKJV):

“You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.”

God has not only the POWER but also the DESIRE to wash away our scarlet sins, making them UNTRACEABLE. He cleanses our hearts until they are as white as snow.

We are FOREVER reparable and covered by His grace!

Many years ago, a woman I know well was at a business meeting in Chicago. Another executive in attendance began to share the salvation message with her. The news left her speechless and concerned. She felt too unworthy for God to save her.

She didn’t see how salvation could be for her. On the way home, she asked God that if He was real to somehow let her know whether she was worthy of His love. Entering her bedroom that evening, she turned on the TV and it happened to be on TLN. Staring back at her through the camera lens was a pastor who quoted Isaiah 1:18.

She recalls to this day the power of those words, “though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” She dedicated her life to Christ that evening. She has never looked back!

Ever since, she has served the Lord faithfully. She became a producer, writer, host, and entrepreneur with 25+ years of leading Fortune 500 companies. She is now a mentor and founder of a faith-based nonprofit organization.

At TLN, we are proclaiming 2023 as A Year of HOPE. HOPE for GOD’S BEST today, tomorrow, and throughout this year.

What will be your story in 2023? What plans does God have for you in this season of life? God loves to use ordinary people in extraordinary ways!

Let TLN join you on your journey. Allow our Bible-based programming to be your daily resource. Explore God’s calling on your life. Seek freshness, newness, and direction, then, in turn, inspire others to do the same!

I had been praying about what message God would have for you the day my daughter brought her soiled laundry. Let He who has done a great thing in you continue His work! Allow God to move in your life in ways He has never done before.

We are never too far gone for God’s grace and love. He forever stands at the door of our hearts, waiting for the invitation to come in. Let 2023 be YOUR DEFINING YEAR.

Find His defining joy!
