Ministry Multiplication:
Equip, Empower, and Evangelize
| |
Dear David,
We’ve been sharing with you our strategy of ministry multiplication, inspired by Acts 6:7, which tells us, "The word of God continued to increase, and the number of disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem." We are committed to advancing the mission through three key areas: EQUIP leaders with biblical knowledge, EMPOWER them to lead, and help them EVANGELIZE the gospel. To give you a clearer picture of our mission in action, we wanted to share some insights on how we operate and accompanying testimonies.

Equipping Leaders with Biblical Knowledge |
At the heart of our mission is the desire to see national church leaders thoroughly equipped with the Word of God. We understand that a solid biblical knowledge foundation is essential for effective ministry. Our training classes are designed to provide comprehensive biblical training, ensuring leaders are well-versed in Scripture and capable of teaching and guiding others. We also conduct seminars and provide resources to deepen our relationship with our leaders, increase their understanding of the Bible, and enhance their ability to apply its truths in their ministries. Click here to view the curriculum and seminars CCI offers.
Earlier this year, in the Philippines, Jun Mabano, the Regional Coordinator of Mindanao, held a Seminar on Advanced Expository Preaching (SAEP) in Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, with 20 participants from eight (8) churches. Please enjoy a testimony from one of his participants.

“I am Pastor Brendo Secula, pastor of Pancilan Community Church. During our first day of the SAEP, my eyes were opened wide, and the Lord touched my heart during the seminar. My understanding of Book 1 and Book 4 has greatly developed. It was the first time I had heard about the preceding and immediate context. I also learned that we could connect biblical times to the present day. Previously, I had thought that when we read the Bible, it was directly written for us. I didn't even know about the background or historical context of the passages I studied. I am grateful to the Lord for the CCI ministry, and especially for the SAEP."
Empowering Leaders to Lead
Equipping leaders with knowledge is just the beginning. We are also focused on empowering them to take on leadership roles within their communities. By identifying and mentoring faithful men, we aim to cultivate generations of leaders who can oversee trainers and classes, ensuring the continuity and growth of our ministry efforts. These coordinators are vital in maintaining the quality and consistency of our programs, and we are dedicated to providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed.
Empowered leaders are developed through discipleship. The most effective way to share and receive knowledge is through authentic relationships. Just as Jesus imparted truths to His disciples by spending time with and mentoring them, we aim to grow leaders by following this biblical example. From student to graduate and teacher to coordinator, we nurture growth through these discipleship relationships.
The photo below illustrates what a discipleship relationship looks like. Kittikun Meetang, the National Director of Thailand, regularly meets with his 25 area coordinators and encourages them to meet with their teachers. These leadership gatherings are not just for training, but also for sharing life and building deeper connections.

Kittikun said, “Every time we meet, we share our blessings and evaluate our progress and contributions. Praise God that we see that what we are doing is having an impact on so many people. Students who receive training from CCI grow and have a strong spiritual state. They have developed as followers, and many have shown they can be good leaders, applying biblical principles correctly. They contribute to preaching and pioneering the expansion of new churches.”
Helping Leaders Evangelize the Gospel
Evangelism is at the core of our mission. We are committed to helping our leaders effectively share the gospel with the lost. Through classes, seminars, and practical training sessions, we equip them with the skills and confidence needed to reach their communities. Our goal is to see the message of salvation spread far and wide, bringing many to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Our National Director of Myanmar recently reported the following:
“I trained 15 church ministers on personal evangelism in my church. We spent our mornings learning biblical models of evangelism and our afternoons practicing them for one hour. Three-person groups shared the Good News with the community. More than 100 people heard the Good News, and 24 accepted it. It was a joy to see these new believers receive their Bibles, and we look forward to following up with them and seeing them grow in their faith.”

As we move forward, we are encouraged by the progress we have made and the impact we are seeing in the lives of those we serve. We praise the Lord for His provision and faithfulness. We are also grateful for your continued support and partnership in this mission. Together, we can see the Word of God increase, and the number of disciples multiply greatly, just as it did in Jerusalem.
Thank you for standing with us as we work to equip, empower, and evangelize for the glory of God.
Many of our coordinators will lose support at the end of the year. Would you consider giving a monthly donation to meet their needs? A donation of $300-500 a month supports a national coordinator who oversees classes, trainers, and students. Visit www.cciequip.org/donatetoday to begin supporting a coordinator today.
Additionally, our National Coordinators Fund combines resources to support coordinators globally. You can give at http://weblink.donorperfect.com/Coordinators.
Thank you for your partnership in carrying out the Great Commission.
Grace and peace in Jesus,

EXCITING NEWS!!! My new book has been published. I've included a description below. To buy a signed copy of the book, click on the button below.
God has not only created us with the ability to multiply through having children, he has also given us the power to multiply disciples who multiply disciples through the preaching of the gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit. In Genesis and Acts, we read how God enabled man to multiply biologically and spiritually. We read how the number of disciples greatly increased and multiplied during the era of the early church. In his book, Dr. David Nelson, explains eight principles for building a ministry of multiplication. These biblically based principles will empower you to see a solid ministry that will grow into a ministry that multiplies disciple makers.
