The last few weeks have been busy and the month of February provides many opportunities for ministry as well.
Serving in Seattle
Grace Slavic Baptist Church, Lakewood, WA
I just returned to the Seattle area for five weeks of ministry in many of the Moldavian/Russian churches. My host church is Grace Slavic (pictured above). To learn more about Grace Slavic Baptist Church
here (church website). My time here includes preaching, teaching, chapel services, youth meetings, counseling, and leadership training. My wife will be teaching ladies Bible studies, along with sessions for young mothers, teens, and pre-teen girls. Please keep us and these ministry opportunities in prayer.
Snapshots from the Past Few Weeks
Enjoying our Kids We are grateful for the time we got to spend with our kids over Christmas. They are now scattered across the country: Florida, Ohio, and California. We look forward to being together again later this spring for graduation exercises.
Bible Making at Medora On January 18 and 19 we joined with our home church to assemble 11,000 John and Romans Scripture portions. These Scripture portions will be used for a deaf church plant in Colorado and a church plant in Junction City, Kansas.
Russian Youth Retreat The last weekend of January, I traveled to Wenatchee, Washington. I preached at a retreat for 35 young men from the Salvation Baptist Church in Edgewood, WA. God blessed our time of study in His Word and fellowship.
We are thankful for another year of ministry and all the opportunities God has provided for us to share His Word. Click here to see our itinerary. May we all heed the following command: "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might" (Deuteronomy 6:5).
