Musica Orante Concert Series
Concert a Huge Success
The church came alive on Sept. 26th as world-renowned singer, conductor, educator, and
UK Opera Theatre Director, Dr. Everett McCorvey presented a brilliant performance in the Musica Orante series on for "Every Time I Feel the Spirit",
an evening of spirituals, featuring members of the American Spiritual Ensemble. The concert received rave reviews from everyone that attended.
This and That...
Thanks to the Sutterfield Trust, 27 of the 60 students at Western Elementary receive food each week. The remaining 33 students rely on donations from our generous church people!!

The cost to feed each student for the school year is $100. Donations are needed to the the children. All donations are welcome and appreciated.

Please take a moment to think about donating to this mission. To do so, make your check payable to The Church of the Holy Trinity with Blessings in a Backpack on the memo line, so Harold knows where the money is to be credited!

Packing will begin on October 6 with the first food delivery to Western Elementary on October 7th. Please note that packing will resume downstairs in the Parish Hall.

Thanks in advance for your generosity! The students need the food each week to get through the weekend! Any questions, please get in touch with me! - Lisa Estes-Cheatham lhedance@aol.com
