Pastor Alina Gayeuski joined last week's Ministry in the Now Normal call to sharehights of the inclusive ministry event on Saturday, October 7 at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church with keynote speaker Pastor Noah Hepler! Watch the video at right to learn more!
In God’s Image is a day-long (9-2) program of worship, workshops, conversation, and resources. The cost is $10 per person, including lunch. Invite a team from your congregation to cover all of the workshops.

Encouraging Pastoral Vocation for a Time Such as This
Bishop Patricia Davenport will keynote the Ecumenical Women Pastors’ and Planters’ Summit sponsored by the Metropolitan Christian Council of Philadelphia on Saturday, Sept. 23, 10 a.m. to 1p.m. This summit encouraging pastoral vocation features the Rev. Lo Banfield, Rev. Dr. Leslie Callahan, Rev. Misty Fuller, and Archbishop Mary Floyd Palmer. At the City Line Hilton Hotel.

Extravaganza 2024: Tools for Today
The next generosity event, “Tools for Today”, will be Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale. You will learn usable ideas and programs to help develop a culture of generosity in your congregation.
- Keynote speaker – Grace Duddy Pomroy on creating Alternative Funding Methods for congregations.
- Workshops include: “Think Outside the Box: Congregational vitality, particularly in an urban context”; “Annual Campaigns: Practical Tools to Energize Generosity”; “Living in God’s Abundance when Scarcity is All You See”; “Shared Ministry: Faithful Service in Difficult Times”; and “Taking the Mystery Out of Planned Giving.”
- Workshop leaders include Doug Powe, Marianne Brock, Philip Krey, Clyde Walter, Andrea Walker, Micah Krey, Tim Brown, and Carolyn Wilt.

Save the date! On Sunday, September 24, from 6-8 p.m., SEPA Youth will host a Mardi Gras Gathering Kickoff Event at United Lutheran Seminary, 7300 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia.

LDR Oktoberfest September 30
Oktoberfest for LDR, sponsored by St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Glenside, has been held for over a decade. Join us for a family friendly afternoon of great food, great music, and a well-stocked silent auction.
Funds raised support long term disaster response in eastern Pennsylvania. We continue to help survivors navigate and recovery from complicated challenges related to disasters. We are actively still serving those impacted by Tropical Storm Isaias (2020), Hurricane Ida (2021) and most recently several severe storms in the summer of 2023.
