Mirvac Think Pink Announcement a Great Success

Construction Commences on New Think Pink Living Centre
A new $700,000 Think Pink Living Centre at Docklands, funded and developed by major property company Mirvac, on the ground floor of Mirvac’s Forge residential tower at Yarra’s Edge Docklands, is set to become a special sanctuary for thousands of women and their families facing the emotional and economic challenges of Breast Cancer.

The new centre is planned to open in February 2020.

Details of the new Think Pink Centre were released yesterday in a ‘sea of pink safety vests’ when builders, contractors and suppliers, who are donating their products and time in partnership with Mirvac, met with Think Pink volunteers and clients to get a first hand briefing on the importance of the new centre.

Contributors to the new Think Pink Living Centre
Mirvac Design, Mirvac Construction, Temperzone, Miele, Dulux, Blind Concepts, Harvey Norman Commercial and Godfrey Hirst have contributed to the new Living Centre by donating mechanical ventilation units, kitchen appliances, paint, curtains, household appliances and floor coverings respectively, while Corrs Chambers Westgarth, WSP Australia, Hollerich Town Planning, PLP Building Surveyors & Consultants, Simpson Kotzman and Acoustic Logic have come on board as consultants. A vertical garden will be supplied by VIRID Vertical Gardens.
