MECHANICSBURG, PA – Mission Central announces that its 2022 Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Mission Central warehouse, 5 Pleasant View Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.

The Annual Meeting will be combined with a celebration of the Twentieth Anniversary of Mission Central’s founding. The event will begin with a reception with light refreshments at 9:30 am followed by the Annual Meeting and Celebration at 10 am. The event is open to the public. However, due to the pandemic, in-person attendance will be limited to fifty people and pre-registration will be required. For those unable to attend, the event will be simulcast on Mission Central’s YouTube channel and available for viewing afterwards.

Jim Foster, Chair of the Board of Directors of Mission Central, Inc., said: “Since we became a stand-alone 501c3 nonprofit in 2020, we’ve had an Annual Meeting to elect our new Board class and officers. This year, we are combining the Annual Meeting with a celebration of twenty years of connecting God’s resources with human need through mission education, mission outreach and disaster response.”

Hope Harrison, Mission Central Executive Director, added: “We plan to turn our Annual Meeting into an important fall event. The Annual Meeting gives us the opportunity to celebrate twenty years of Mission Central, including the people who were critical to our founding and continuing success.”

The program will include a twenty-year perspective on our growth and success, a panel discussion featuring several persons who were “present at the creation,” a recognition of our important leaders, some of our hopes and dreams for the next twenty years, and optional tours of the warehouse.

There are two ways to register to attend the 2022 Annual Meeting & Twenty-Year Celebration in-person. Call us at 717-766-1533 or send an email to missioncentral@missioncentral.org.
