The West Valley-Mission Community College District Board of Trustees, at its meeting on March 21, voted that COVID-19 vaccinations are no longer required at our college starting May 30, 2023. This decision was made after careful consideration by the Trustees as well as the COVID-19 Planning Team and District Council. Students will also not have to declare their vaccination status for summer and fall 2023 classes.

The West Valley-Mission Community College District will still have a COVID-19 Response Team to provide personal protective equipment, hand sanitizer, and antigen tests when needed at our campus, and to keep everyone safe. Consistent with guidance from local public health experts, we continue to recommend testing, face coverings, and handwashing as appropriate. Also, the COVID-19 reporting form remains active, and we encourage individuals who test positive and have been or plan to be on campus to continue using it.

Please know we care deeply about you and your well-being at Mission College and are committed to taking all the necessary steps to ensure it. For the most up-to-date information, visit the District's COVID-19 webpage.
